A mutliplier event took place at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Thessaly on March 28, 2024. The purpose of the event was to promote STEM careers. The event targeted secondary education students aged 16 years, when they start making career choices and planning for university entrance exams. The event was attended by approximately 200 students from 4 schools and their teachers.
ICT-INOV was presented in one of a total four scientific presentations. The audience had the opportunity to reflect on the importance of innovation. They further were familiarized with design thinking steps of empathy, project definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing. They received examples on problem discovery and empathy practices. They further were exposed to project activities in partner countries of Nepal, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Malaysia.
