Location, context, time, and duration
The 2nd workshop was organized at the Department of Computer Science, Isra University on 27 January 2023. The workshop was organized in one of the general-purpose labs of the faculty of engineering, sciences, and technology, Isra University, Hyderabad. All the faculty members of the faculty of engineering, sciences, and technology, and the faculty of business, education, social science, and humanities were invited to attend the workshop.
Participants
A total of 10 faculty members from all the departments of faculty of engineering, sciences, and technology, and faculty of business, education, social science, and humanities attended the workshop.
Description of activities
The purpose of organizing the workshop for the faculty members was to introduce the design thinking process and its use in the classroom environment. The faculty members were exposed to the steps involved in design thinking-related activities. They were first demonstrated on how the design thinking steps and activities related to it can be used in the classroom. Later, they were given a demonstration of the design thinking platform developed as a part of the project. Then they were asked to use the platform and create activities related to the courses they are teaching for the practice.
Feedback and dissemination
Participant feedback was very positive. Participants were very engaged throughout the event.
