The 3rd consortium meeting took place in Kathmandu, Nepal. The meeting was co-organized by the two consortium partners located in Nepal, Kathmandu University and Tribhuvan University. The meeting offered a great opportunity to project partners to collaborate face to face, evaluating project progress and advancing current work related to digital activities development, piloting of the ICT-INOV learning intervention in courses, updating partners on the completion of ICT-INOV physical labs, instructor training, community building events, quality assurance, and dissemination.
The 1st day of the meeting took place at Tribhuvan University, which is located at the center of the town of Kathmandu. The meeting was opened by Prof. Dr. Shashidhar Ram Joshi, Dean, Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University. Subsequently, work focused on an overview of the current state of implementation of the project, with details on the implementation of individual work packages. Partners then worked on the ICT-INOV digital learning platform, updating their courses. Finally, partners worked on the development of good practices that organizations beyond the consortium can apply to get the most of the ICT-INOV learning intervention and planned on the organization of webinars for promoting ICT-INOV objectives, activities, and outcomes.
The 2nd day of the meeting took place at Kathmandu University, which was reached by bus after a 30 minute drive from the center of Kathmandu. The meeting was opened by Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, Vice Chancellor, Kathmandu University. Subsequently, partners worked on project management and administrative aspects. Partners located in Asia presented their progress on the completion of the physical labs. Then, all partners presented their activities on piloting and use in courses of the ICT-INOV learning intervention for innovation.
The 3rd day of the meeting took place at Tribhuvan University. Partners worked on the ICT-INOV digital learning platform, developing new activities and editing existing ones. Subsequently, partners presented their activities on instructor training. Finally, partners discussed and planned dissemination activities through broad channels, including the internet, social media, scientific articles, presentations, and more. Finally, partners discussed quality assurance processes and reviewed success indicators to ensure that project outcomes have the desirable impact upon project completion.
